AVP-R---Don't waste your time, movies of the week are better than this.

REDS---Incredible. Even for the length it was, absolutely riveting and worth all the hype. I had no idea it was the story of John Reed or I would have looked it up myself. Had Jack Nicholson as Eugene O'Neil. Just fantastic, definitely deserved all the awards it got back in the day!

FAST FOOD NATION---more disturbing than what I was expecting. Will make you never want another burger again. Very sad. Very depressing.
There were plenty of cameos from name actors throughout: Wilmer Valderramah, Kris Kristopherson, Greg Kinnear, etc. Avril Lavigne made an appearance toward the end and the whole time I thought it was Tara Reid.

THE SCIENCE OF SLEEP----very odd foreign film. Great effects but was one of those that left you saying "Wha---?" when it was over.

OUTFOXED, THE STORY OF RUPERT MURDOCH AND FOX NEWS----depressing because it was so true. The story of how Fox news spins all it's stories and commentary to be utterly anti Democrat, anti liberal, anti gay, even though it promises "Fair and Balanced" reporting and how controlling and evil Rupert Murdoch is.

CHILDREN OF MEN----Had a few good "are they gonna get away?" moments but was nothing I would see again or tell anyone to see.

10th AND WOLF----Good basic gangster story.

SUPERBAD---Hysterical movie. Def. reminded me of Big Spring and Corpus. They had high school life dead on.

THE LAST SECT---Unimaginative vampire flick that held no surprises but for some reason the editing and effects made it look cool and make it interesting enough to keep watching.

RX---this movie stars Eric Balfour, who has to be the UGLIEST young actor out there. Seriously, he's hideous! I hated him in Six Feet Under as the Toe Sucker Guy but for some reason I can watch this movie over and over. It's easy to watch, no heavy plot to follow, just some kids trying to smuggle Ecstacy from Mexico into the US. The female lead is awfully cute. I'm not sure who she is.

WONDER BOYS----Okay, it probably isn't fair to post that here as this is the FOURTH or FIFTH time I've seen it. That should be a testament to the genius of this movie. From the actors to the dialogue, to the background music to the situations it is still one of the best movies made in the last ten years.
